MOJOE, the athlete-exclusive career, transition and personal development platform, today announced a landmark partnership with Revolut to launch a co-created Athlete Transition Programme.
The programme will identify, prepare and place exceptional athletic talent into roles across Revolut's business, giving athletes a genuine next step after their sporting careers and giving Revolut privileged access to a pool of driven, high-performing candidates that traditional hiring channels rarely reach.
The partnership pairs MOJOE's Career Readiness Programme, its structured transition education and coaching offer, with Revolut's growth and talent ambitions. Together the two companies will co-design a pathway that prepares athletes for the move into corporate life before they take the leap, then feeds that ready talent directly into Revolut's recruitment engine.
Revolut already employs former elite athletes across its teams, and their performance has demonstrated exactly why athletic skillsets travel so well into a high-tempo, high-growth environment. The discipline, resilience, coachability, competitiveness and ability to perform under pressure that define an elite career are the same traits that help Revolut challenge the norm in a long-established market and continue to differentiate.
This partnership formalises and scales what those individuals have already proven. Rather than leaving athlete talent to be discovered by chance, MOJOE and Revolut are building a deliberate, repeatable pipeline, with the education, preparation and support wrapped around it to set both the athlete and the employer up to succeed.
"Every athletic career comes to an inevitable ending, some more prematurely than others, and almost no one prepares them for what comes next. I experienced it first-hand. What Revolut understands is that athletes are not a diversity box to tick, they are exceptional individuals, albeit raw. Give them the right preparation, onboarding, working environment and pathway to progress and they will perform. This partnership gives athletes at every level, male and female, a credible next step, and it gives Revolut a talent edge that we believe is largely going under the radar. That is a win-win for both sides." - Joe Davis, Co-founder of MOJOE.
"Athletes spend their whole lives learning how to prepare, compete and improve. Those are business skills, they just haven't been translated yet. MOJOE exists to make that translation, and doing it alongside a company growing at Revolut's pace is the perfect proving ground." - Tim Alexander, Co-founder of MOJOE

"As an ex-footballer myself, I've seen many teammates enter the latter stages of their careers with no idea what to do next. That transition is hard, and it's rarely talked about honestly. What I love about MOJOE is that they don't wait for athletes to fall off a cliff. They prepare them for the next chapter proactively, before they need it. Revolut isa place where athletes can thrive. The pace, the competitiveness, the standards, it's an environment built for people who are wired the way athletes are. We believe in them as people and in everything they bring, and our onboarding and set-up are designed to take that raw drive and shape it into a top professional in their field." - Charlie Harris, Sales Manager at Revolut.
A first cohort this quarter
With the pilot programme launched, MOJOE and Revolut now move into the recruitment phase. An inaugral cohort of five selected athletes will join Revolut's sales team this quarter in entry-level positions, each chosen through MOJOE's Career Readiness process and matched to roles where their competitive instincts, work ethic and coachability translate most directly.
“This first intake is deliberately focused,” said Davis. “It allows both partners to prove the model, learn what works and refine the onboarding before scaling the number of athletes brought in over the quarters that follow. The long-term ambition is a repeatable pipeline of athlete talent into Revolut, but the immediate priority is getting the first five right and building the case study that makes the next intake bigger.”
Preparation before the leap
At the heart of the partnership sits MOJOE's Career Readiness Programme, a structured 7-step coaching and education journey that gets athletes ready for the transition rather than simply pointing them towards a job board. Athletes are supported to understand their transferable skills, translate a sporting CV into commercial language, build workplace confidence and prepare for the realities of corporate life, all before they step foot in an office.
This preparation is central to why the partnership works, and why MOJOE is already working with Premier League clubs, sporting associations and elite university programmes following its launch in 2025. Athletes arrive at Revolut ready to hit the ground running, with expectations set. For the athlete, it removes the fear and uncertainty of stepping into the unknown. For Revolut, it means candidates who have already been developed and understood, rather than cold CVs arriving on the desk of the talent acquistion team.
An inclusive pathway by design
Diversity, equality and inclusion sit at the centre of this partnership. Sport produces one of the most diverse talent pools in the country, spanning backgrounds, communities and lived experiences that corporate hiring too often overlooks. Yet athletes frequently leave that world without the networks, qualifications or confidence to access professional careers, and a pathway into a company like Revolut can feel out of reach before it is ever explored.
The programme is deliberately inclusive by design, open to athletes at all levels and across the sporting spectrum, male and female. By building a structured route into corporate life, MOJOE and Revolut are widening access for people who might never have believed this pathway was available to them, and giving Revolut genuine diversity of thought, background and experience in return. It reflects a shared commitment to educating the next generation of athletes and widening the pathways available to them, recognising that the vast majority of elite athletes outside the very top tier face short careers, financial pressure and a difficult transition when their career in sport ends.
